Cherubim...
  I can't say much linguistically other than there are 
Egyptian words in the bible.
  But the Angel lore including the Cherubim is mostly 
developed after the Persian period and is mostly of 
Persian/Babylonian influence. You may wish to persue the 
Persian connection first then using it as a link for the 
Egyptian/hebrew connection. I hope this helps. Probably not
