I'll grant you that the Eurocentric designation of the Holy
Land is Palestine, while the Jewish one is Israel, or Eretz
Israel. The latter designation is also used by the only
group to continuously occupy the land for the past 2,500
years, the Samaritans.
This discussion reminds me of the resentment Latin Americans
feel toward gringos who call themselves Americans and refer
to their land as America.
So it is not me who is eurocentric!
