Re: orion-list Essenes, Zias article, etc.

Dear friend,

I have a number of reasons to believe that the 'dogma' of essenian
origins has been well coordinated by certain religious groups who saw
possibly in the Essenian community, precursors of Christianity. I am not
embarrassed to state here that prominent clergymen have conveyed this
notion to me.

The Copper Scrolls could not have belonged to the Essenes. That is simply
ludicrous. Father de Vaux wrote that they were a fable...that is anything
to dismiss their importance. It is probably a heresy to state that he was
simply carried away by his religious convictions or what he perceived as
such.

Let us continue our investigation and look for better interpretations if
we can.
