Paullus, the *only* Aemilius in Roman history, winner of Pydna 168 BC (and
thus initiator of C. Popilius Laenas' arrogant circle drawing around
Antiochus IV in the same year, which caused the latter to retreat from Egypt
and the Maccabeans to stand up...) as the *Aemilius* in the 4QMish fragment,
former main subject of a thread which turns after its remarkable
metamorphosis into an issue on Siwash fantasy in US chechaquo fashion.
