   Thank you also for pointing out the likely source of the military
   details of David's career.  I've long thought that Joshua's action
   at Ai was a notice from Alexander's campaigns before he crossed
   to Asia and came from Greek sources.  I said as much in my book,
   _Behind The Bible_ in 1990.
