1. Following his comments on Hillel, Shammai, Hanukkah and Qumran, Martin
Jaffee asked "Does this sound reasonable?" Yes.

2. In case it is worth considering, "Aristobulus" in Talmud (bSota 49b,
bMenahoth 64b, bBaba Kamma 82b...) is spelled aleph-resh-yod....
