Dear listmembers,

who knows, whether the term 'armies of the Kitti^Òim of Assur' in col. i,1
simply is a trivial misspelling or a camouflaged reference to the four Roman
Legions in Syria in the 2nd half of the 1st c. BC?
Unfortunately I haven^Òt found any clue as to several Seleucidean armies
deployed or operating either in Syria or in the Taurus-region during the 2nd
c. BC.

Greetings
Dierk
