Hello Avital,
Thanks for the info on Schiffman's paper, which I have read with great
interest. However, it does not deal with the specific problem which
interests me: Does Second Temple sectarian literature deal with or even
mention the proclamation of the Jubilee Year on Yom Kippur? This is a
question which I myself neglected to deal with in my forthcoming paper
on "Jubilee and Day of Atonement", to be published in the Proceedings of
the World Congress on Jewish Studies". ve'ani makkeh 'al xet'. Can
anyone enlighten me on this subject?
