Mr. West,

I must take the tack - qui tacet consentit.

Do you mean scholars or academicians or perhaps
researchers? Do you wish this narrow field of study (DSS)
to be cabalic?

What makes a "scholar"?

Please bear in mind that, if it were not for
"non-scholars", we would not have electricity,
telephones, light bulbs, airplanes, medicines, computers,
the Bible,..... archaeology, etc. Note: researchers may
or may not be scholars. Prof.s, MDs, PhD, DScs may or may
not be scholars.

Regards,

Elmer Smalling III
