the Samuel texts were given into the care of F.M. Cross for publication
back in, I think, 1954. Three years ago, Donald Parry, of the Foundation
for Ancient Research and Mormon Studies, was assigned to assist him in the
publication of these materials. This last summer, Parry lectured on "4QSam
a (4Q51): A Preliminary Edition of 1 Samuel 14:24-24:22" in Jerusalem,
which must mean that Samuel is on its way.
