Re: orion Bodily Functions and Sectarians
When touring the archeaological sites around the Old City of Jerusalem
there are many remains of homes that had mikva'ot. One can expect that
they also had facilities for other bodily functions. The number of
mikva'ot exceeds what a normal population would need. One can speculate
that they were users by pilgrims (worshippers) on the way to the Temple.
I would like to hear from someone in Jerusalem who may know more about
these sites? What do you speculate?
