I just looked at my old Masonic Bible from maybe 25 years ago. It has a collection of picture showing the 1st Temple. The first picture shows a reading stand and the candelabra in the back. The only trouble is that the stand shows what looks like a book or codex. Steve Abramowitz NYU Law JD.
