Right. Pure and simple.

My assessment is that, based on his own statement (NRM 23:1-3), his
teachings were predominantly Perushim (yes, I'd agree with Jack that he
leaned more toward Hillel than Shammai); but I have a suspicion I cannot
demonstrate (yet) that many of his disagreements with the Perushim may have
had a Qumran Tzedoqim basis. My present asssessment is that he was a
Perushim with strong Qumran Tzedoqim leanings and agreed with both that the
Pseudo-Tzedoqim were corrupt Roman quislings -- 'Wicked Priests.'

I strongly disagree with insinuating any connection whatsoever between
Christianity and Yehoshua or the Netzarim until the individual is capable of
demonstrating it -- and that hasn't happened.

The examples in which "ancient" and 'proto' have been offered weren't
intractable diametric opposites and, therefore, are invalid. If "ancient
America" were the intractable diametric opposite of modern America it would
absurd to apply the term. The same is true of proto-human. The only thing
it accomplishes is to perpetuate confusion; said another way, grind an axe.

Finally, it strikes me that this has gotten off unnecessarily distant from
this forum's topic? Perhaps further discussion in this direction would be
better accomplished privately? The line here is difficult to discern.
