Would someone be so kind as to provide a list -- what is known and what
is probable -- of the sects and factions of 1st C Judaism? --
Say, provide those "known for certain sects" first, then expand to those
suspected of being sects and factions.
And if one message is too short to provide the following in addition,
then on a second msg, could someone provide how far afield these sects
might have ranged -- cities and towns outside of Judea where they are
found in the first half of the 1st C. --
This helps me to understand the discussion better, and probably others
-- a sort of skeletal outline to help in following the various flows of
discussion.
