I was just reading an old article on post-exilic seals from Ramat Rahel and
a few other places that showed the letters yh, yhd, or yhwd, being dated
imprecisely between the fifth and second centuries. We have on this list
given special significance to yhd as something perhaps specifically
Qumranesque. Having come across the fact that it was nothing rare outside
the dss I was wondering if there was a specific reason for (philologists)
treating the word yhd in some unique way among the dss?
