AS to the relevance of digraphs, that's easy, Seth. Esti Eshel is
following Cross' determination (1961) that there is such a thing as an
N-shaped Chet, for which, as I mentioned, he advances only 4
examples, none of which is overwhelmingly convincing, although they
are at least plausible. If the form in question is *not* a Chet, then
it's most likely an Aleph, and there are plenty of digraphs in Qumran
with Aleph...
