As noone knows the pronunciation of these words at the time, you only
confuse the issue and misrepresent the words by introducing this tacky
English idea of "spelling" and distorting the underlying information. If you
could leave out all the assumed vowels it would make life a little more easy. 

You should realize that Modern Hebrew is an artificial creation and you
should not depend on it to be a firm guide to the Ancient.
