Re: Josephus and Pliny as sources

Dear Eric,
Is Pliny's date for the first babylonian dynasty influenced by knowledge 
of some very late version of the Sumerian king list? We should remember 
that ancient historians may not have been as critical of their 
received sources as recent scholars.
